AXiOS

"...walk worthy of the calling to which you have been called with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love..."   Ephesians 4: 1b-2

Growing together.

Whoever you are, wherever you're from, you are welcome here.

Youth at New Century (grades 6-12) are currently meeting each Wednesday from 6:00-7:45. Dinner is served at 6pm.
We are in a series called Milestones. This takes a detailed look at the foundations of the Christian faith. Each week the study builds upon truths directly from scripture, with practical life application.
Check out the youth calendar to see our upcoming events and activities.

Who We Are

We are a group of a local students and leaders who love the Gospel and love our community. We seek to worship God in our weekly meetings  through song and through the word. We seek to glorify God through living lives that reflect his glory to those around us.

What We Do

AXiOS believes in serving the community and the world through local, regional, and hopefully, international missions. We have been called to be the hands and feet of Christ and we take that role seriously as we seek to serve those around us for the glory of Christ.

Our Vision

Our vision is that students will graduate with the foundation needed to navigate life from a biblical world view. We seek to engage students through careful examination of scripture and theology in order to prepare them to be servants of God no matter their occupation.

service and mission

Roanoke and Our World

AXiOS is dedicated to serving its local community through a variety of projects and partners. Each year AXiOS students serve members of the church through yard work days and clean up days. We believe in loving and serving the body by using our skills to do what others are unable to do. AXiOS has also partnered with the Friendship House here in Roanoke. At various time throughout the year we volunteer to help out with their needs. At Christmas we prepare stockings with gifts for the children at the Friendship house. These ministries get the students involved in the lives of those in our community and teaches them to give with a loving and generous heart.
Every summer the students of AXiOS take a short term mission trip within the USA. Currently we are partnered with Big Creek Mission in Bear Branch, Kentucky. This trip gives students a chance at hands on ministry and services within a community that needs desperately to hear the good news of the Gospel. Students run Vacations Bible Schools, serve community meals, and help with local construction projects. Each project teaches students how to use their gifts to share the love of Christ with others.
