He is an Eagle Scout who enjoys reading, building anything big or small, distance running, and especially being in God’s creation of the wilderness with his wife of over 20 years, Joanna, and their son and daughter.

Greg Smith

Elder

Greg, who became an elder in 2020, has a passion for the scriptures, especially when it comes to linking Old and New Testament Theology. This was cultivated by his time at Appalachian Bible College where Greg earned a BA in Biblical Theology in 2000. A native West Virginian, Greg and his wife, Melissa, have called Roanoke and New Century Church home for the past fifteen years. Over the years Greg has served in the roles of small group leader, mission’s director, and youth leader.  They have three children, Micah, Levi and Kylah.
