What to expect
A typical service will last about 90 minutes. Every week, our worship team leads us in a mix of contemporary and traditional music. At New Century, in addition to a variety of "standard" worship elements—pastoral prayers, creeds, Baptism, the Lord's Supper, Scripture reading, etc.—you can expect to hear expositional preaching with a particular focus on sound doctrine and practical application.
After our service, we have volunteers who are trained to pray with anyone who has follow-up questions about the sermon or who needs prayer for any reason. This time of prayer is private and happens in our post-service counseling center. People usually hang around for a while and fellowship after the service. Feel free to stay as long as you'd like. If you're visiting New Century for the first time, our pastors would love to meet you.
