JaredJared Walters, Youth Pastor

Jared came on staff with New Century Church in June of 2006 as the Assistant Youth Pastor.  He has just recently taken on the responsibilities as the full time Youth Pastor in May of 2007.  Jared graduated from Cave Spring High School in Roanoke, Virginia in 2003 and went directly to Roanoke College to pursue a degree in Physics as well as play baseball at the collegiate level.  He graduated from Roanoke College in May of 2007. Following his freshmen year, Jared decided to give up baseball in order to pursue youth ministry.  Jared has worked locally as a youth director over the past four years and has recently come on staff with New Century as the full time Pastor of Students.

Interests: Virginia Tech Hokies Sports, baseball, and ultimate frisbee.
